StrumSchool.com needs your help! Today we launched an IndieGoGo Campaign (which is just like Kickstarter) with a goal of raising $10,000 over the next 100 days. This money will be used to help us create an additional 30 free video guitar lessons. That said, we need your donations & support to reach out to everyone who wants to help us make learning how to play the guitar free and easy. Why should I donate to StrumSchool.com?
StrumSchool.com is a webstite dedicated to teaching beginners how to play the guitar for free! So far we have publihsed 37 video lessons that teach our students everything from the Anatomy of the Guitar to How to Play Basic Chords. If we can raise $10,000, StrumSchool will make 30 or more new videos, which will help people like yourself learn to become better guitar players for free!
How will my donation be uses?
All of the money we raise will go directly into video production. If we reach our $10K goal StrumSchool will be able to create enough videos to almost double the number on our site today! Here’s the break down of our video production costs:
- Guitar Teachers / Filmmakers: $50/hour X 3 Hours = $150
- Video Editor: $50/hour X 2 Hours = $100
- Overhead (IE: Snacks To Keep Our Staff Happy): $50 X 1 Hour = $50
- TOTAL COST: $300
