Alicia Keys is set to release her newest album Girl on Fire in the United States on November 27, 2012. Moreover, the album will be released in the UK on November 26 and in Japan on November 28. It has been three years since Keys’ last album, The Element of Freedom. ‘Girl on Fire’ was recorded at The Oven Studios in Long Island between 2012 and 2012.
 
Two singles have already been released from ‘Girl on Fire’. The single ‘Girl on Fire’ was released on September 4, 2012 and the single Brand New Me was released on November 19, 2012. Neither of the songs have charted on the Billboard Charts yet. However, Alicia has had 22 different songs that has charted on the R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart. Six of these songs peaked at #1 including a song from her first album ‘Fallin’’ and one from her last album ‘Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready).
 
‘Girl on Fire’ contains 13 songs all of which were co-written and produced or co-produced by Alicia Keys along with various other artists. The album also features Nicki Minaj singing with Alicia Keys on ‘‘Girl on Fire’ and Maxwell singing with her on ‘Fire We Make’. The track list includes:
