Five Finger Death Punch’s album American Capitalist has spent an amazing 65 weeks on the Hard Rock Albums chart. Even after 65 weeks, the album continues to hold the #13 spot for the week of January 19, 2013. The album debuted at # 3 on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released in October 2011.
 
American Capitalist is the third studio album for Five Finger Death Punch. The band released their first studio album in 2007, The Way of the Fist and their second album in 2009, War Is the Answer. The band got their from oriental martial arts cinema. Five Finger Death Punch is often abbreviated 5FDP or FFDP.
 
American Capitalist was released under the genres of Groove metal, alternative metal, heavy metal, and nu metal. Five singles have already been released from American Capitalist. The singles include:

FFDP was formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California. Current band members include Ivan Moody, Zoltan Bathory, Jeremy Spencer, Jason Hook and Chris Kael. Former members include Caleb Andrew Bingham, Darrel Roberts, and Matt Snell. Five Finger Death Punch has tour dates scheduled for the summer of 2013. They will begin in June with a concert in Nijmegen, Holland. From Holland they will move on to Sweden, Austria, Poland, and Germany. The band has been nominated for Live Act of the Year for the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards.
