The death metal band Cannibal Corpse has announced their concert dates for November and December 2012. The band has seven upcoming concerts scheduled starting on November 21, 2012 and running through December 6, 2012. The concerts will kick off with Misery Index and Hour of Penance in Madison, WI.
 
Cannibal Corpse was formed in 1988 and released their first studio album, ‘Eaten Back to Life’ in 1990. Since their debut album, the band has released eleven other studio albums. In addition, Cannibal Corpse has also released one live album and one box set. The band has not been without controversy. More than once, the band has been banned by different countries from performing concerts and/or had the sale of the albums banned.
 
Paul Mazurkiewicz, Alex Webster, Chris Barnes, and Jack Owen formed the band in 1988. Barnes left the band in 1994 and Owens left in 2004.  Current members of the Cannibal Corpse include Mazurkiewicz, Webster, George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher, Patrick O’Brien, and Rob Barrett. Cannibal Corpse has also appeared in a Jim Carrey movie. The band made a brief cameo in the movie Ace Ventura: Pet Detective in which they performed an abridged version of ‘Hammer Smashed Face’.
