Confessions by Buckcherry debuted at #1 on Billboard.com’s Hard Rock Albums chart for the week of March 9, 2013. The album was released on February 19, 2013. The artwork on the outer cover for the album is designed to look like a book cover. When you open the cover, you find the true cover for the album.
 
Confessions is the sixth studio album for the band. It is the follow-up album to the bands 2010 album, All Night Long. The first single from the album was released in December 2012. To date, the song has peaked at #28 on the Active Rock chart. Previous released albums include Black Butterfly (2008), 15 (2006), Time Bomb (2001), and Buckcherry (1999).
 
Buckcherry was formed in 1995 and stayed together until 2002. After disbanding, the guys took a break until 2005. Josh Todd and Keith Nelson got back together and released a new album on April 16, 2006. Current band members include Josh Todd, Keith Nelson, Stevie D., Jimmy ‘Two Fingers’ Ashhurst, and Xavier Muriel. All current members of Buckcherry have been together since 2005.
 
A deluxe edition DVD is available which includes ‘The Story Behind Confessions’, official music video for ‘Gluttony’, ‘On the Set: Gluttony Video Shoot’, and the official lyric video for Gluttony. Songs included on the album are:
