Cruise by Florida Georgia Line holds the #1 spot for the second week on Billboard.com’s Country Albums for the week of 12/29/12. The ‘Cruise’ album was also #1 on the Country Airplay, #2 on the Country Digital, and #18 on the Radio Songs Chart. The song was written by Brian Kelley, Tyler Hubbard, Joey Moi, Chase Rice, and Jesse Rice. It was produced by Joey Moi.
‘Cruise’ is the first single released from the studio debut album ‘Here’s to the Good Times’. The album was released on December 4, 2012 and has already charted at #3 on the US Billboard Top Country Albums and #10 on the US Billboard 200 charts. The second release will be ‘Get Your Shine On’.
Florida Georgia Line consists of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. The boys met while attending Belmont University. The duo released their first EP on December 14, 2010 and their second EP on May 15, 2012. The EPs were entitled “Anything Like Me’ and ‘It’z Just What We Do’. Four songs from the earlier albums have charted on the US Country Charts. These songs include ‘Summer Jam’, ‘Here’s to the Good Times’, ‘Round Here’, and ‘Stay’.
Florida Georgia Line signed with the label Big Loud Mountain in 2010. However, the group left Big Loud Mountain and signed with Republic Nashville on July 16, 2012. Florida Georgia Line has been the opening act for Jake Owen, Colt Ford, Dierks Bentley, and Brantley Gilbert.
