Deftones will pick back up their current tour on February 22, 2013 in Paris, France. The first leg of the tour started on October 9, 2012. After two shows in France and two in Germany, the band heads to North America. They will be in Rochester, NY on March 4. 

The tour is to promote Deftones’ most recent album, Koi No Yokan which was released on November 13, 2013. Koi No Yokan is the seventh studio album for Deftones. The genre of the album is experimental rock, shoegazing, and alternative metal. The first release from the album was ‘Leathers’ followed by ‘Tempest’. ‘Tempest’ charted at #19 on the Rock Airplay Chart and #22 on the Alternative Songs Chart.
 
Deftones was founded in 1988 in Sacramento, California. However, their first studio album was not released until 1995. Current band members include Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham, Frank Delgado, and Sergio Vega. Chi Cheng was a member from 1988 – 2008 until a car accident left him in an unconscious state. In 2001, Deftones’ song ‘Elite’ won the Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards.
