Delta Machine by Depeche Mode debuted at the #1 spot on Billboard.com’s Top Rock Album of the Week for April 13, 2013. The album is the thirteenth studio album for the band and was released on March 22, 2013. The first single, ‘Heaven,’ release was a digital download available on January 31, 2013.

The new album is a continuation to a gloomy, bluesy, dark aesthetic the band started to explore in the late 1980s. Reviews say that this is the ‘most powerful, gothic, twisted, electronic album since ‘Violator’.’ Depeche Mode was founded in 1980 and the current members include Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, and Andy Fletcher. Recoding of the album took place between March and October 2012 at the Sound Design recording studio in Santa Barbara, CA and the Jungle City Studio in New York City, NY.

Depeche Mode has been nominated for 28 awards at the biggest award shows including the Grammy Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, and Brit Awards. Out of the 28 nominations, the band has won eight.  The band won the first Innovation Award given by Q Magazine in 2002.  Q Magazine also named them as one of the 50 Bands That Changed World in 2004.

All songs on Delta Machine were written by Martin L. Gore except three (#4, #7, and #10). Track listing includes:
