‘Locked Out of Heaven’ by Bruno Mars continues to hold Billboard.com’s #1 spot on the Hot 100 for the week ending January 12, 2013. In addition, ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ holds the #1 sport on the Pop Songs and Radio Songs charts as well as the #2 spot on the Digital Songs and On-Demand Songs charts.
 
‘Locked Out of Heaven’ by Bruno Mars was released on October 1, 2012 under the genre of funk, reggae rock, and/or new wave. The writers of the song include Bruno Mars, Ari Levine, and Philip Lawrence. It was produced by The Smeezingtons, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie, and Mark Ronson.
 
‘Locked out of Heaven’ is the first single released from the album Unorthodox Jukebox. The album is the second studio release for Mars and was released on December 6, 2012 by Atlantic Records. His first studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans was released in 2010. He toured in 2010 and 2011 to promote the first album. Bruno has been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards and won 1. His total number of awards won for his music total 31 with 113 nominations.
 
Bruno Mars was born Peter Gene Hernandex on October 8, 1985. Mars is not only a singer-songwriter but also a model, dancer, and record producer. He is a musician that is able to play several instruments including the guitar, keyboard, bass, piano, harmonica, and drums. His musical ability comes from being raised in a musical family. Mars began performing at the age of 3 as an Elvis impersonator with his uncle.
