Matchbox Twenty has announced their 2013 concert schedule. The band is set to play 39 concerts in the United States and Canada between January 29, 2013 and March 30, 2013.
 
The tour is set to promote their new album, North, which was released on September 4, 2012. ‘North’ is the first album for the band to chart at #1 on the Billboard 200. The first single from the album, ‘She’s So Mean’ was released on June 12, 2012 and has already peaked in the top ten on the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart.
 
Matchbox Twenty was formed in 1995 in Orlando, Florida. Current members of the band include Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook, and Brain Yale. During the tour, Stacy Jones will join the band on drums. The band went on hiatus in 2004 but returned in 2007 to release a compilation album entitled ‘Exile on Mainstream’. After the release of the album, the band took another small hiatus but reunited again in 2010
