Night Visions by Imagine Dragons jumped six spots this week to end up in the #1 spot on Billboard.com’s Top Rock Albums chart. The album has spent 29 weeks on the Top Rock Albums chart since its release on September 4, 2012. Five singles have been released from Night Visions: ‘It’s Time’, ‘Radioactive’, ‘Hear Me’, ‘Demons’, and ‘On Top of the World’.
The album took three years to finish and is the debut album for the band. Six of the tracks on Night Visions were previously released on EPs. It sold more than 83,000 copies the first week it was on the market. Imagine Dragons spent the fall of 2012 touring the United States and Europe to promote the album. The Night Visions Tour (2013) will start in May.
The band was formed by Dan Reynolds and Andrew Tolman in 2008. A year later Wayne Sermon, Brittany Tolman, and Ben McKee joined. The two Tolmans left the Imagine Dragons in 2011 and were replaced by Dan Platzman. When the band is touring, Ryan Walker joins the guys on the road.
Currently, Night Visions has been certified gold in the United States, Norway, Sweden, and Canada. Band Members wrote or co-wrote and produced or co-produced all the songs on the album. Tracks on the album include:
