‘Oh Love’ by Green Day was Billboard.com’s  #1 top rock song for the week ending 8/25/12. The song also charted at #3 on the Alternative Songs chart and #22 on Japan Hot 100. ‘Oh Love’ debut at #1 on the Rock Song chart for the week of August 4, 2012. So far, the song has spent four weeks on the Rock Song chart.

‘Oh Love’ is the first single from Green Day’s album titled ¡Uno!. The album is set to be released on September 25, 2012 and will be the first album in the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! Trilogy. ¡Uno! was produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day.

Green Day was formed in 1987 and is considered to be one of the greatest American punk rock bands. Band members include Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool. Green Day has appeared on Billboards.com Rock Song list several times. In 2010 ‘Last of The American Girls’ spend 7 weeks on the chart and topped at #34. The first major label debut album for Green Day was Dookie which was released in 1994 and sold over 10 million copies in the United States.

The lyrics to all the songs on this album were written by Billie Joe Armstrong and all the music was composed by Green Day. The songs on this album include ‘Nuclear Family’, ‘Stay the Night’, ‘Carpe Diem’, ‘Let Yourself Go’, ‘Kill the DJ’, ‘Fell for You’, ‘Loss of Control’, ‘Troublemaker’, ‘Angle Blue’, ‘Sweet 16’, ‘Rusty James’, and ‘Oh Love’.
