‘One More Night’ by Maroon 5 remains #1 on the Billboard.com’s Hot 100 Song Chart for the week of October 27, 2012. ‘One More Night’ debut at #42 and has been on the Hot 100 Song Chart for 17 weeks. Not only did ‘One More Night’ by Maroon 5 hit #1 on the Hot 100 Song Chart, it was also #1 on the Pop Songs Chart and Radio Songs.
 
‘One More Night’ is the second single from Maroon 5’s fourth studio album ‘Overexposed’. The song was written by Adam Levine, Shellback, Max Martin, and Savan Kotecha. Released as a pop song, ‘One More Night’ has strong a reggae influence. A music video was released on June 25, 2012 in which Minka Kelly plays Levine’s girlfriend.
 
Maroon 5 started out as a garage band of high school students called Kara’s Flowers. As Kara’s Flowers the band released one album, ‘The Fourth World’ in 1997. The band regrouped and renamed themselves Maroon 5 in 2001. The debut album as Maroon 5 was ‘Songs About Jane’ released on June 25, 2002 and re-released on October 14, 2003. The album has reached certified multi-platinum in sales in more than one country.
 
Current Maroon 5 band members include three original Kara Flower’s members Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, and Mickey Madden. In addition, James Valentine and Matt Flynn have been with Maroon 5 since 2001 and 2006. One of the most popular songs for Maroon 5 was ‘Moves Like Jagger’ which featured Christina Aguilera. The song was nominated in 2012 for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
