Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies by Volbeat debuts at #1 on the Billboard.com’s Top Hard Rock Albums of the Week chart for April 27, 2013. The album was released on April 5, 2013. In the first week, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies sold over 39,000 copies. This is the band’s sixth studio album and the first album to feature Rob Caggiano. Volbeat, Jacob Hansen, and Rob Caggiano produced the album. The album was not only #1 in the US but also #1 on the Swiss, Norwegian, German, Danish, Canadian, and Austrian Albums Charts.
 
Members of the Danish metal band Volbeat include Michael Poulsen, Anders Kjølholm, Rob Caggiano, and Jon Larsen. Guest musicians for Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies include King Diamond, Paul Lamb, Sarah Blackwood, Anders Pedersen, Jakob Øelund, and Rod Sinclair. Volbeat was formed in 2000. They sing under the genres of groove metal, alternative metal, hard rock, rockabilly, and heavy metal.
