Red is touring on the annual American music tour Winter Jam. Winter Jam began in 1995 under the name January Jam. The 2013 line up for Winter Jam not only includes Red but also Tobymac, Matthew West, Jamie Grace, Sidewalk Prophets and Jason Castro. The tour kicked off on January 4, 2013 in Charleston, WV.

Red has been together since 1994 and has released four studio albums. The first album, End of Silence was released in 2006. They followed up with Innocence & Instinct (2009), Until We Have Faces (2011) and Release the Panic (2013). The first two albums were nominated for Best Rock Gospel Album at the Grammy Awards. Current band members include Michael Barnes, Anthony Armstrong, Randy Armstrong and Joe Rickard.

Red’s latest album ‘Release the Panic’ was released on February 5, 2013. The album debuted at #7 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.  However, for the week of February 23, ‘Release the Panic’ is in the #1 spot on the Hard Rock Albums chart for the second week. The genre for this album is post-grunge, heavy metal, Christen metal.
