Songkick is a web service that tracks live shows for a wide range of artists. You can access Songkick at its homepage, or with an app available on Android, iPhone, or Facebook. The Songkick service can be integrated with your iTunes library or streaming music services like Spotify, Pandora, and Last.fm to create a listing of artists to follow.

To use SongKick, sign up for an account, link your existing music services and specifies your location is correct. If you are a frequent traveler, you can add multiple locations. To follow a band that is not on one of your linked music services, simply type the artist’s name into the search bar in the upper right to view results of both upcoming and past concerts.

If you attended a show, Songkick lets you share your experience with its community and your social networks (IE: Facebook). To stay up to date with your favorite artists, click the “Track Artist” button. When an artist is playing at a venue in your area, Songkick will tell you the date, location and any ticket discounts or purchases options.

While there are several music-oriented websites on the Internet today, none of them provide the same service that Songkick does. It is unique in its tracking of artist’s and venues, making sure you never miss an opportunity to see your favorite band and
