“Sweater Weather” by the band The Neighbourhood continues to hold the #1 spot on Billboard.com’s Alternative Song Chart for the week of June 29, 2013. The song has spent 27 weeks on the chart. “Sweater Weather” is the first single released from their debut studio album, I Love You. The album was released on April 22, 2013. In addition to peaking at #1 on the Alternative Song Chart, it has peaked at #12 on the US Rock Songs Chart and #95 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
 
Current members of the band include lead vocalist Jesse Rutherford, bassist Mikey Margott, drummer Bryan Sammis, and guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels. “Sweater Weather” was written by Rutherford, Abels, and Freedman. Although, I Love You is the band’s debut studio album they had previously released two EP, I’m Sorry… in 2012 and Thank You in 2013. The Neighbourhood was formed in 2011 in California.
 
Leading up to the release of their albums, The Neighbourhood performed new songs at Coachella 2012 and at Live Nation in March 2013. On June 21, the band kicks off a summer tour called The Love Collection Tour. They will be performing with groups such as The 1975, JMSN, and Lovelife. During July and September, The Neighbourhood will be touring with Imagine Dragons.
