Telekinesis released his third album since signing with Merge Records in 2009. Dormarion was released on April 2, 2013. The first studio album was Telekinesis! followed by 12 Desperate Straight Lines. Three EPs have been released by Telekinesis, Toulous-Lautrec (2008), Coast of Carolina (2009), and Parallel Seismic Conspiracies (2010).
Telekinesis is the stage name of Michael Benjamin Lerner. He is an Indie rocker from Seattle, Washington. He not only sings but he also plays the guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. He grew up in Kenmore, Washington but at the age of 18 left home to attend Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. At the school he studied audio recording.
