After 12 weeks on the chart, ‘Better Dig Two’ by The Band Perry has reached #1 on the Billboard.com Hot Country Song chart for the week of February 2, 2013. ‘Better Dig Two’ also reached the #28 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was produced by Dann Huff and written by Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally, and Trevor Rosen.
 
‘Better Dig Two’ is the first single release from the upcoming album. No title for the upcoming album has been announced yet but the release date is set for April 2, 2013. The song is about a wife who loves her husband so much that if he dies before she does they should dig two graves because she wants to be buried next to him. The song is a mid-tempo song. The music video for ‘Better Dig Two’ premiered on December 4, 2012.
 
The Band Perry started their professional music career in 2005. However, their partnership began at birth. The Band Perry is made up of the Perry children, Kimberly, Reid and Neil. Their big break came when they signed with Republic Nashville in 2009. Their self-titled debut album was released on October 12, 2010. ‘If I Die Young’ was the band’s first #1 song for the band.
 
In 2011, The Band Perry won the Academy of Country Music Awards Top New Vocal Duo or Group and Top New Artist. In addition, in 2011 they also won Country Music Association Awards New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the year for ‘If I Die Young’.
