The Killers have announced their fall tour schedule. The tour will kick off on November 29 in Broomfield, CO and will run through December 29. Additionally, The Killers will hold one concert with Hollis Brown & Buffalo on November 2, 2012 at Mercury Lounge – NY. After the 15 tours in the North America, The Killers move to Australia for five concerts in January 2013.
Since the release of their demo album, ‘The Killers’ in 2002 have released an additional four studio albums, one live album, and one compilation album. The studio albums include ‘Hot Fuss’ in 2004, ‘Sam’s Town’ in 2006, ‘Day and Age’ in 2008, and ‘Battle Born’ 2012. ‘Day of Age’ and ‘Sam’s Town’ both reached #2 on the Billboard.com Rock Album Chart and ‘Battle Born’ hit #1 on October 6, 2012.
Current members of the The Killers include: Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci, Jr., and Mark Stoermer. Flowers and Keuning started the band and within a year Stoermer and Vannucci completed the line-up. The band got their name from a logo on a bass drum that appeared in the music video ‘Crystal’.
