Finding great concerts if is an essential part of life for every true music fan. With the rise of the digital age, there are a host of new tools that can help you stay up to date on the shows from all your favorite in your area. If you’re looking for ways to find new concerts, here are some tools we recommend you check out!

The following apps all offer track the hottest concerts in your area allowing you to find awesome concerts. Here is a list of a few apps that we think are useful and what makes them unique:

1. SongKick.com – Viewed as one of the top concert sites, Songkick rarely has any concerts slip by unnoticed. One of the greatest aspects of this site is the ability it has to take iTunes, WinAmp, or Windows Media Player plug-ins and track your favorite artists’ right from your music library as well as list other similar bands you might like.

2. Pollstar.com – What makes Pollstar unique is as a member you get to be a part of what makes music popular. Rate and vote on artists, news polls, photos, and post reviews.  

3. Eventful.com – Eventful’s unique Demand it service gives fans the power to influence the content and location of entertainment and live concerts. Over 100,000 musicians, comedians, filmmakers, politicians and other live performers check out what you demand to make informed decisions on where to perform next.

4. Bandsintown.com – The coolest thing about Bandsintown is the concert cloud. You can import some of your favorite artists, and create a custom concert cloud that features all your favorite artist’s concerts that are coming up in your area. This cloud makes it super easy to see when your favorite bands are playing as well as gives great recommendations for other local concerts you may like.

5. Ticketmaster.com – The best thing about this site is you can see when and where the hottest bands around are playing, when upcoming concert tickets go on sale, and all the latest hip music.
