TuneIn provides access to over 50,000 local, international, and Internet radio stations, all streaming for free over an Internet connection. Applications for TuneIn are available for Apple, Android, Blackberry, Palm, Windows Phone devices, and on the web at www.tunein.com. The applications have the ability to setup an alarm clock with a specific station to start playing at a given time. Additionally, TuneIn can integrate with a LastFM account to further personalize and cater each music experience to your wants and needs.

Stations can be searched via location, station, show, artist, or genre. Once you find one you want to listen to, it’s as simple as pressing play. Favorite stations can be added to your presets, for easy access later. The apps even give the ability to pause, rewind, and record live radio, without the cassette tapes of long ago. During each song, an artist bio comes up featuring the band’s history, lyrics, photos, and more. There’s even a link to Last.fm in order to listen to more music from that artist.

TuneIn is constantly developing collaborations between more stations, music festivals, and other providers to bring a large and varied selection of radio options directly to your computer or mobile device.
