‘Wanted’ by Hunter Hayes is the #1 song on the Hot Country Songs for the week of February 23, 2013. ‘Wanted’ has been on the charts for 51 weeks. It debuted at #57 on the charts for the week of February 27, 2012. ‘Wanted’ is the second single from Hayes debut album, Hunter Hayes. Additional singles released from the album include ‘Storm Warning’ and ‘Somebody’s Heartbreak’.

Hayes is a talented musician who not only sings but can play the accordion, guitar, mandolin, piano, and drums. In 2007, Hayes graduated high school at the age of 16. Universal Music Publishing Group signed Hunter in 2008 as a songwriter. He co-wrote the song ‘Play’ which appears on Rascal Flatts album Nothing Like This.

Hayes is the youngest member inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. He was only 20 years old (2 days short of 21). In addition, he is the youngest male country artist to be nominated for a 2013 Grammy Award as Best New Artist.

Hayes toured with Taylor Swift for 10 shows during her Speak Now World Tour (2011). He then went on a solo 10 week tour to promote his self-titled album. For two months in early 2012, Hayes opened for Rascal Flatts on their Thaw Out tour. Currently, Hunter is touring with Carrie Underwood in her Blown Away Tour. He started in September and was set to open 90+ shows for Underwood.
