The surf rock/pop punk band Wavves has announced their upcoming concerts. The tour is to promote their new album, Afraid of Heights, which was released on March 26, 2013. Not only was the album released on this date, but the title song was also released as a single. ‘Afraid of Heights’ (song) features Jenny Lewis.

Wavves started as a recording project of Nathan Williams in 2008. Current band members include Nathan Williams, Stephen Pope, and Jacob Cooper. When they released their first album, Wavves, the band consisted of drummer Ryan Ulsh and guitarist Nathan Williams.

Williams is not only the founder and front man for the band but he is also the primary song writer. On the first three albums that the band released, Williams wrote or co-wrote all the songs except for three. Previously released album include Wavves (2008), Wavves (2009), and King of the Beach (2010).

Wavves will be touring in not only the United States but also Canada. Upcoming tour dates include:
