Hollywood Undead is set to release their third studio album, ‘Notes from the Underground’, on January 8, 2013. ‘We Are’ was the first single from the album released on October 29, 2012. The album was first set to release during the summer of 2012 but it was pushed back to 2013. Griffin Boice, Danny Lohner, and S*A*M & Sluggo produced the new album.
 
Hollywood Undead was formed in 2005. Their debut studio album was ‘Swan Songs’ which was released in 2008. In 2011 ‘American Tragedy Redux’, the band second studio album was released.  ‘American Tragedy Redux’ hit #1 on the Hard Rock Album chart and #2 on the Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts
 
Current band members include Jordan Terrel, Matthew St. Claire, Daniel Murillo, Jorel Decker, George Ragan, and Dylan Alvarez. However, the band members all go by a pseudonym and cover their face with a hockey goaltender design mask. The band performs under the genres of rap rock, alternative, rock, hip hop, and rap metal.
