Neil Young and Crazy Horse are set to release their double-CD Psychedelic Pill on October 30, 2012. A triple vinyl is going to be available on November 23, 2012 via Reprise Records. Fans can get a sneak peak of all the songs from ‘Psychedelic Pill’ since October 24, 2012 on the band’s website. ‘Psychedelic Pill’ is the second album release for Neil Young and Crazy Horse in 2012. The band’s first album of the year, ‘Americana’, was released in June. Neil Young and Crazy Horse have been collaborating on and off together since 1968.

‘Psychedelic Pill’ is the thirty-fifth studio album for Neil Young. Young started his music career in 1960 in Canada and moved to California in 1966 where he started a band with Stephen Stills called Buffalo Springfield. Neil Young is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
 
Crazy Horse has had a successful career on their own but is best known for their association with Young. The band has released five solo albums and several albums with Young. Current members of Crazy Horse include Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina, and Frank ‘Poncho’ Sampedro.

Although the ‘Psychedelic Pill’ album only has eight songs, two of the songs are over 16 minutes and one is over 27 minutes. Track listing for ‘Psychedelic Pill’ is:
