Open F Minor Chord (Fm)

Open F Minor Chord (Fm)

Fingering for the Open F Minor Chord

  • Ring finger on the fourth string third fret
  • Index finger to barre strings three, two and one.
  • Don’t play the sixth and fifth strings.

Alternative Fingering

You can make this easier by using two fingers to push a little bit harder for the barre. You could also use your pinky instead of your third finger. It is important to hear the note of the third string in order to make the chord sound minor.
