This video is for the A sharp or B flat power chord. It’s the same thing, or it can be A sharp 5, B flat 5.

So our formula is we find the note and then we put our index finger down followed by the remaining. So, the root six version. I’m going to go to the sixth fret, that’s a B flat note or A sharp, and I add the other fingers. Third finger goes on the fifth string eighth fret. Pinky goes underneath it on the fourth string eighth fret. X's beneath it. That’s my power chord. It’s normally called a B flat chord, so let’s just call it the B flat for now.

Now my other one is going to be up on the thirteenth fret of the fifth string. This is the root five. I put the index finger down. And I go fifteenth fret of the fourth string and fifteenth fret of the third string. Making sure to X out the sixth string and also the second and first. And I can slide this chord down all the way to the first fret. So now my frets are first fret, third and third fret. All the same strings are X’d out.  So these are my two root fives for the B flat power chord or B flat 5 chord.
